California based jewelry designer Alexandra Dewey offers original, one of a kind designs utilizing organic techniques developed after years of study, exploration and discovery. Dewi Designs was born out of creative play. The designer loved fashion, design and working with her hands – from drawing princesses in elaborate dresses as a child to majoring in photography to working in costume design during her adult years. Her work has revolved around the arts ever since. Inspiration for her collection comes from everything from nature, an art history textbook, street art—even an amazing piece of music. Each piece is handmade combining a mix of threads, semi precious stones and metals with an emphasis on organic. Dewi pieces are always fun to wear and easily transition from day to evening, a top new line in “green” fashion.
